Project Overview
Marais holds an annual sale, and in the past, they have rented a Pos system. However, in 2022, the tech team will develop a customized Pos system for the sale to cater to Marais' unique requirements. The goal is to make the checkout process at the sale quick and efficient.

Outcome

1.The POS system can be opened at each location through a URL.
2.The buttons are easy to click, provide clear guidance on what to do next, and are designed with consideration for the user's context.

What I learn
1. It was very exciting and fulfilling to see my designed Pos interface being used at the sale event on the same day. After observing it all day, there were no particularly lagging areas, and my colleagues' feedback was also positive.

2. However, I found out that the rented screens were not touch-enabled. When customers purchased many items, they could not view all the product details at once.

3. The placement of the screens was not intuitive for customers. Next time, we need to adjust the height and distance.

4. I hope to integrate a payment system next time to make the overall checkout process faster.
